Tennis 4 Life - Star Pupil of the Month

Star Pupil - Sue Wardell

Sue’s tennis has improved dramatically since the first time she walked onto the court (without a racquet!) to have her first lesson with me, and I put this down to a pupil who listens well, tries tremendously hard and is serious about wanting to improve her game.

Mini TennisThe last time Sue played tennis, before she started with me, was some forty years ago! She hadn't picked up a racquet since and was totally rusty the first few lessons she had, but she soon found her groove, brushed the cobwebs aside and has proven to be a star player.

I would say that Sue was a beginner when she started out and, after ten lessons, I would now put her down as intermediate, able to have a decent game of tennis (even when, on the very odd occasion, she slips back into her old habits!). Overall Sue is a much more confident player, has technically more sound shots and has added much more power to her game. Well done Sue!
